Gratitude Rocks

 

I’m so grateful that my vision of FREEDOM has really come into fruition. I love what  I do in nearly every moment. I wake up when I like. I spend nearly every day with my beautiful family. I have the best clients who are exciting to work with. I get to see people healing all over the place from illnesses that are supposedly “un-curable” conditions. I laugh a lot. I  hear the best music all day long. I dance whenever I want and its a lot. I’m learning so much that my head tingles. I’m loving so much that my heart throbs. And, I can’t even describe how awesome it is to love and be loved by this child of mine. And, oh to fall in love and uncover the love my man and I have for each other every day. Its a Rockin Life. 

The Thanksgiving Holiday is coming this week in the US. The very basis for this holiday may very well be fictional, and I acknowledge that the indigenous people of what we call America were brutally killed and enslaved — as European immigrants made their way here and stole the native land. Its tragic, and its still happening in many ways.

But, the Gratitude  emotion emits the kind of vibration that can pull us out of the slumps of prejudice, slavery and control. 

Be grateful and your heart will emit a strong ELECTRIC current that will affect positive change in yourself and even those around you. Be grateful and you will receive more of what you are grateful for — because that vibration that comes from your heart (and is 500 times stronger than your mind) moves through time and space and attaches to other people, ideas and things that are equal to it.

Gratitude comes from your heart. You’ll hear me mention Heart Math a lot  on this site. I love Heart Math because it marries mainstream science with ancient wisdom.  It proves that emotions have an important purpose. And, if you can feel gratitude in your heart, you can clear up many problems with stress ( and even prevent and heal from illness). In the ancient system of chakras your heart is the first of your upper 3 chakras which connect you to the divine. So, in other words, love, compassion and gratitude (emotions that come from your heart), are the fist steps in connecting to the divinity within you.

When you have Gratitude for what you have in your life, you set the tone for  dissolving any energies that hold you down. What’s more is that your gratitude combined with mine has exponential power to help heal us at a global level.

This Thanksgiving, the best thing we can do for past and current “victims” of abuse and discrimination (like our own Native people) is to be grateful for our lives and all the beauty we see.

I was born blessed enough to not really have to struggle for survival the way many people still do. I’ve had enough times without money, home, food, job etc to understand that I was not a victim then or ever — and the best thing I can do is pick myself up and share LOVE.

We are so abundantly blessed in this country. Because we are not fighting for survival (though many of us are or think we are) — we can more easily save our brothers and sisters by feeling the gratitude.

If you’re an empath, you can get sucked down into the sadness of the hungry, the poor, the homeless — that’s normal. We’re all connected and its a sad situation. But, I’m telling you that if you really want to put an end to that kind of suffering once and for all, we have to join together in these higher vibes of love, compassion, gratitude, benevolence — you know it. You feel it too. Share your food, your home, your smiles…. but most of all, share your higher vibrations. Make everything you do come from a place of LOVE and Gratitude.

** Everyone’s keeping Gratitude Journals these days. I think it was Oprah’s idea. But you know what’s even better than that? Saying Outloud how grateful you are and sharing that notion with your family and friends.

** Put  your hand on your heart and visualize what you are grateful for. Try seeing in your mind, one specific thing at a time. Allow that vision to fill your heart until you smile. Then imagine that vision turning into light and filling you down to your toes and back up again until it seeps from your hair and creates a bubble of gratitude around you.
