Being grateful doesn’t mean that you are always smiling, or are always happy with your outcome. It’s about understanding your outcomes, and working towards finding the purpose in the guy behind you honking his horn like you’re deaf. There is always a reason for the way things happen and every experience is a chance for you to learn something new.
If a situation seems dire, then reflect on it and figure out what purpose it is teaching you. Find your bliss and gratitude in appreciating every moment, even if it doesn’t seem to be beneficial.
So, here’s the family list of the day.
Doug’s Gratitude List:
The sound of the ocean
Dougie’s Gratitude List:
Cars collection talking toys
Gina’s Gratitude List:
Opening my mind
Kissing Dougie’s cheeks
Holding Dougie’s hand
Watching my Dougs loving each other
We have really been slowing down our days and finding more time to take care of ourselves. Life is great. Be grateful.
